A graduate of Case Western Reserve University with her Bachelors of Arts in International Studies, Akua G. Asare-Danso M.D went on to receive her Medical Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. At The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital she was awarded the Senior Research Award and the 2010 Bernard Goodman Award. She was chosen as the 2011 American Psychiatric Association’s Jeanne Spurlock Congressional Fellow where she worked in the United States Senate as the Health Legislative Fellow for senior Senator from Ohio, Sherrod Brown (D-OH), addressing a diverse array of domestic and global health care issues. Currently, Dr. Asare-Danso works for the American College of Cardiology where she develops quality improvement tools and toolkits that transform clinical data into practical solutions at the healthcare systems level. Active in her community, she has served on the Youth Advisory Committee for The Africa Society of the National Summit on Africa, served as the Co-Chair on the Executive Committee Mental Health Collaborative for the African American Health Program, Peer Collaborator for the Mandela Washington Fellowship, and most recently as the Chair of the DC Commission on African Affairs. She has received multiple certificates and awards for her work as an inspirational speaker, facilitator and presenter - including being named as a Top 20 Under 40 - 'Ghana’s 20 under 40 Influential Business Leaders’ . She volunteers in her church, House of Healing-DMV, as Administrative Manager.

Anthony Brown is a capoerista, workout aficionado and fitness coach. He has a particular desire to better his community and holds women to the highest standards. For that reason, he particularly invests in time into collaborating with like minded professional trainers in order to help women better their overall health, eating habits and physical fitness.
